Join us for our next in-person General Meeting, on Tuesday April 4 at the South Philadelphia Older Adult Center (SPOAC), 1430 E. Passyunk Ave.

General Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month (except July and August) at 6:30 pm. In-person meetings are typically held at SPOAC. Speakers are typically announced via email and on Facebook the Friday before the meeting. Our monthly newsletter comes out the morning of the meeting, archives are being updated. Join us for the Fall ’23 Neighborhood Talk & Tour, on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at St. Maron’s Church Hall.

We’ll be hearing even more about the incredible history of our neighborhood, learning fun facts and taking a virtual tour of the places we’re discussing.

Neighborhood Talk and Tour

Election for the 2023-24 Board of Directors will take place this year with two different voting options. Neighbors who are on are newsletter list are invited to vote electronically. Voting links will be sent out to our mailing list on April 29th. Only votes from those who can verify they live, own property, or own a business in the neighborhood will be counted. If you have voted in past elections, we will verify your information via past records.

If you are new to voting, you must verify that you are eligible to vote as a member of PSCA. Membership is automatic for anyone who lives, owns property, or owns a business with the primary location within the boundaries of PSCA. To verify, ONE of the following documents can be used as proof:

  • Voter registration card
  • Executed lease agreement (either for renter or business owner)
  • Deed
  • Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID with an address in the neighborhood
  • Utility bill
  • Printout of OPA page (MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PHOTO ID)
  • Business Privilege License or other permit (for business owner)

    Please be prepared to submit this documentation.

Electronic votes must be submitted by Monday, May 2 at 11:59pm. If you live within our boundaries neighbors who are not on our e-mailing list you can sign up here. If you would like a paper ballot, email nominating@passyunk.org.

In-person voting will take place at our May general meeting on Tuesday, May 3rd with details and location to be announced. We are also planning to invite candidates for the upcoming Philadelphia and commonwealth elections for a meet and greet on this date. Check our social media for details.
